AUTO/GOAL

A live audiovisual intervention that parasitically attaches itself to a football broadcast, altering it from within without ever interrupting it, and reframing it as a space of interference, symbolic conflict, and collective misreading.

AUTO/GOAL

A live media disruption device for collective viewing environments

AUTO/GOAL is a hybrid live set and parasitic broadcast system that hijacks a football match in real time. The original game is never replaced, only infiltrated: the signal stays on while its meaning is rewritten live.

Football is treated as a regulated form of conflict, and the project injects visual and sonic interference into that structure. AUTO points to automatic, algorithmic, conditioned response; GOAL shifts between objective, score, error, and glitch.

Presented on-site and online, AUTO/GOAL turns collective viewing into a contested media space where spectatorship, disruption, and interpretation collapse into the same real-time event. The founding core of the project is composed of Lorenzo Antei, Gabriele Favazza, Luca Leggero, Guido Segni, and Gionatan Quintini.
